American basketball icon Kobe Bryant Dies at the age of just 41 years old. The news was reported from TMZ and confirmed later by Variety. Bryant was in a helicopter which crashed killing the NBA all-star player in Calabasas, California.
Kobe Bryant Dies In Helicopter Crash in California
Bryant was traveling in his private helicopter when it crashed. The crashed caused a fire and emergency personnel were sent to the scene. Unfortunately, no one on board survived the crash. Till now five people has been confirmed dead.
CNN confirmed that his daughter Gianna Maria Onore Bryant was also on the helicopter. His wife Vanessa Bryant was not among those on the helicopter.
Considered as the all time greatest basketball players who had won five NBA titles along with twice been honored as the MVP. Kobe had also won two Gold medals in 2008 and 2012 Olympics.
Kobe Bryant has produced and written short film “Dear Basketball” for which he won the Academy Award in 2018. The film was an animated adaptation of his own poem. He also founded Granity Studios. The studio produced podcasts, TV series, and educational books aimed at middle schoolers and teens.
