YASH started his acting career with the Teleserial Nanda Gokula directed by Ashok Kashyap, which aired on ETV kannada. He starred in a number of distinctive tele serial with Malebillu and Preeti Illada Mele. In the year 2007 , he portrayed a trivial role in the movie titled Jambhada Hudugi which was directed by Priya Hussan. Late, he was featured in the movie titled Moggina Manasu directed by Shashank in 2008,where he appeared in supporting role alongside his Nanda Gokula, Co – star Radhika Pandit.
YASH was bestowed with filmfare Award for the best supporting Actor category for his remarkable acting in the film. In the following time, he was featured in the leading roles in the movies like Rocky (2008), kallara Santhe (2009), Gokula (2009).
In 2010, YASH was signed for the movie titled Modalasala which was his first ever commercial solo hit movies. In the year 2011,he starred in the movie titled Raajdhani which were bestowed the best critiques appraisal and his inclusive appearance was critically commended. In the next year, YASH was megahit as well as commercially flourished at Indian box office. He received positive reviews for his performance in the village comedy film.

For his remarkable performance, he won a number of awards and is presently working on a sequel which is amongst the most awaited movies. He started his acting career in 2004 with the kannada TV serial ‘Uttarayan’ aired on Udaya TV.
YASH had been in a relationship with actress Radhika Pandit for long and especially after their film, Mr and Mrs. Ramachari, that saw them portray the lead pair, and their third time together in films. Before two disclosed it in public or social media, the both engaged in Goa on 12 th August 2016. They married on 9th December 2016 in a private ceremony in Banglore. YASH called their relatives, friends, negiourbhood and family members from Karnataka for their reception at Bangalore Palace. They have a daughter and Son.
