He started his film career from the movie ‘Kismat’ in 2007. He even acted in one TV serial called ‘Sibdoor’. However, he earned fame from his third film “Mero Euta Sathi Cha”. Some of his outstanding works are Kasle Choryo Mero Maan, Classic, November Rain, Homework, Loafer and hi latest hit movie is Hajar Juni Samma.
He ha received many awards in his career. Some of his notable awards include: National Award for Best Actor for Mausam and Mero Ewta Sathi Cha, Best actor Award, D Cine Award for Kohi Mero, Best Actor Award NEFTA Award for Kasle Choryo Mero Maan and many more.
