Union Budget 2021 – Union Budget Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced her new budget plans for 2021Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has presented the Union Budget 2021-22 in parliament on Monday.

The Finance Minister said that in 2022 the government will undertake privatisation of two more public sector banks and insurance companies. There will also be a significant changes to the taxation process, FM also announced that senior citizens (above 75) earning only pension would not be required to file Income Tax Return under certain conditions.

New rules for removal of double taxation for NRIs. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has announced that this year budget will be a budget like no other for tax payers. In her speech FM also addressed the health care and announced a total spending of Rs 2 lakhs crore with Rs 35,000 crore on Covid-19 vaccine development. Four states i.e Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Assam and West Bengal will be benefited on highway road expansion.

After addressing the nation after the Budget presentation, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said it speaks of all rounder development. He also then thanked and congratulated the Finance Ministry Team, he also added “it’s an active and not a reactive budget”.
