Jharkhand Government Waives Off ₹ 980 Crore Loan Of 2.46 Lakh Farmers
The Jharkhand government on Thursday said it has waived off loans worth ₹ 980 crore of 2.46 lakh farmers in the state so far and is committed to their welfare.
Chief Minister Hemant Soren on completion of one-year of his government on December 29 last year had officially announced the farm loan waiver scheme. Jharkhand Government Waives Off Rs 980 Crore Loan Of 2.46 Lakh Farmers. In the first phase, the government has decided to waive farm loans up to ₹ 50,000.
“The government has waived off loans of 2,46,012 farmers so far. A total amount of ₹ 980.06 crore has been given in the loan waiver of farmers,” the minister said.

After searching for 18 hours,in Manipur, Rs 21-Crore Gold Biscuits found in Car
In a massive operation,the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence officials, have seized more than 43 kg of gold biscuits worth ₹ 21 crore from Imphal in Manipur. After receiving the information, officials on Tuesday intercepted a car in the city, two people were inside the car. After several investigation gold biscuits were found hidden inside three different cavities made inside the vehicle.The same car was used previously for smuggling.

Plumber cleaning drain vent dies at Hyderabad airport
Plumber Narasimha Reddy who was 42 years old died at Hyderabad the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport while checking drainage lines for leakages. Two other workers identified as Zakir and Ilyas, from the same agency, who were working with Narsimha Reddy, escaped unhurt in the incident, which occurred around 8 pm in the International Arrivals area.

On June 2, Somnath Mali from Sarkoli village in Pandharpur Tehsil of Solapur district in Maharashtra was selected as a senior scientist at Vikram Sarabhai Space Center in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala.
He became the first student from Maharashtra to get selected as a senior scientist with the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO).
