The food bill of the restaurant became viral after a person shared a picture it online. The picture that was shared showed that the customer had ordered for mashed potatoes and chicken tender basket and below that was ‘1 stupid Quetion’ for which the restaurant charged $0.38 (Rs 27).
The restaurant actually had ‘Stupid Question’ listed in their menu.

Tom’s Diner Denver has been doing this for entertaining their customers. General Manager of Tom’s Diner, Hunter Laundry said, “It’s meant to be playful. It’s good to keep things light in today’s world,”. He told Today Food that it was in good fun.
Tom Messina, uncle of Hunder Laundry, had added the option in their menu some 20 years ago to be at the funny side. Though the staff was instructed to never charge people for stupid question.
It seems that those groups who would engage with them and are having fun at the table would have it added on their bill for fun.
