Sikkim announces date of re-opening Educational Institutions

State government in Sikkim announced the date of re-opening educational institutions in the state. All educational institutions in Sikkim will reopen from June 15. As not even a single case of coronavirus infection has been reported from Sikkim till now, the state government took the decision to open all schools, colleges and universities in the state on June 15.

However, students from KG to class 8 will remain closed. Morning assembly for schools will also not be held. As the final exams will be held in February 2021 no holidays shall be given on Saturdays.

Colleges will have regular classes and all students are requested to follow Social distancing norms.
