Royal Enfield Bike News – Classic 500 to be Discontinued
Latest Royal Enfield bike news suggest that the company is going to discontinue the Classic 500 soon.
Royal Enfield has already discontinued the Bullet 500 and Thunderbird 500 and Thunderbird 500X and it has already taken off from their official website booking section. With this it looks like they will discontinue their Classic 500 as they have low sales figure.

Coming from a dealer sources, they say that manufacturer has also discontinued the Classic 500. But as they have existing stocks, Royal Enfield has been accepting bookings for the Classic 500. The Classic is in more demand than the Thunderbird or the Bullet.
As there are lesser sales of their 500cc bikes in India as well as in foreign country, it could be the main reason for its discontinuation.
With the introduction of their latest models Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650, buyers are seen interested in their new models than thier older ones. The Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650 are seen as a good bike and has better package overall than thier 500cc bikes.
Though Royal Enfield has been seen testing their all new generation Classic and Thunderbird models recently. This new generation bikes could be replacing their discontinued models.
