The first step in being successful is to start with a dream. Dreaming helps you to imagine how great you can be or what you want to achieve in life. Dreams helps to motivate you.
2.Set a goal
After you imagined yourself, set a goal for yourself. What do you want to achieve? It can simple as to save money for your holidays plans or studying hard and getting the best score so that you can get that placement with a dream salary package. Whatever it is be determined to achieve that goal. Life without goal is boring and soon you will lose interest in everything. Setting a goal keeps you motivated to work hard and to increase your confidence level.
3.Change your routine
You have set a goal for yourself. What now? Its time to change the way you are spending each day and make changes in the way you use up your time. Buy yourself a diary and take notes and track your activities throughout the day for a few days. Start evaluating. Are you using you time wisely? or are you just wasting your time? Take note on what you are spending your time in. Now, make a fresh routine and start following it today itself, from the moment you wake up, to the moment you go to bed. Push yourself to work hard to study so as score the best marks or to complete the project on time. You need to plan your day in advance and take all steps you need to take in order to achieve the goal.
When you evaluate yourself, you’ll be able to organize your activities throughout the day and achieve maximum result with minimum effort.
4.Manage your time
No matter how big your goal is or how well thought your plan is, if you are wasting your time unnecessary it will lead you nowhere. Make sure to know your priorities and act in accordance with them. Cut short the amount of time you are out with your friends, the time spent on your phone, chatting, etc. These are the major factors that always come between you and your success.
5.Neat and Clean
So have set the routine and set a time-table to work on. But your working space is a mess. You will never be effective no matter how much time you give yourself if there are bits of paper, books, dirts lying all over the place. Take an hour or two and work on cleaning the room or if you start having headaches on the mere thought of cleaning hire a cleaning service to do it for you.
There are many things out there that are just out of our control. Everything in this world has a good and a bad side to it. But, its all up to you to choose which side you want to see. If you good with the good side and see things positively, you will be happy and see opportunities around you. Self-doubting yourself and fearing of failure will only lower the chances of you being successful. If you doubt yourself who's going to believe you? You deserve to be successful. Success is yours and it's all for you to get it. Fearing and self-doubting will lead you being ineffective in work and will only lower your confindence.
9.Improve your character traits
You want to be the CEO of a multinational company but if you behave childish or unproffesionally, no one is going to take you seriously. Learn who you need to be to get successful. Enter a state of mind that gives you the right behaviors and attitude which are propelling you into the hearts and the eyes of others.
10. Be consistent
If you want to be successful set a goal and stick to it. Being consistent makes you reliable and trustworthy. If you are just jumping from one idea to another it will ultimately lead to nowhere.
11.Love what you do
Someone once said,"Do the job that you love doing and you will never have to work again". Spend time on doing things that you enjoy doing; things that bring you satisfactions and feelings of achievement.
