Debit – Credit card data leaked, 70 lakh customer’s bank accounts in danger
More than 7million customer’s bank details along with debit card and credit card has Ben leaked online on the the dark Web. Even the mobile numbers, yearly income, email id and PAN card details has been leaked out of Indian card holders along with their names.
Earlier this month, Mr. Rajasekhar Rajaharia, Cybersecurity researcher discovered the Google Drive Link on the dark Web. It was given the name of “Credit Card Holders Data”, which is available for download via the Google Drive Link. The links are open for public access.
Data stored from 2010 to 2019 can be leaked on the dark Web which can be used by hackers. By using a leaked personal details, hackers can use card holders. However, debit card and credit card details has not been leaked in this data.

It is claimed that, this data came from a third party service provider. PAN card details has also been leaked of about 5 lakh customers. The security researcher checked the data of some customers in which most of the information was correct. But, the leaked data of the employees has not yet been clarify whether the leaked data of 7 million users matches or not.
According to Razahria, someone has stolen the data link on the dark Web and thy leaked it out in public. The data belongs to the employees of Axis Bank, Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), Kellogg‘s India Private Limited and McKenzie and Company. As per the report, the annual income of these employees where from Rs. 7lakh to Rs 75 lakh.
