Bollywood Movie Review – Ajay Devgn’s Tanhaji Critics

Firstpost says that the it is a powerful close to a film that lacked the same intensity with its not so enthusiastic narrative. The climax is at a higher point but the lead-up was not up to the mark. The only time that the movie did come to a great climax was during the interval point which introduces unexpected twist.
Pinkvilla review says that the movie is Ajay Devgn’s finest performances up till now. He manages to do justice to the role with ease. Also Saif Ali Khan does an impressive role portraying the ruthlessness of Udaybhan with calm. When Ajay and Saif were in the same scene there were competitive battle between them. Kajol was able to deliver, though her screen time were little. Music and background score cause an adrenaline rush and will keep the audience hum on to it long after they leave the theatre.
People Boycott Deepika Padukone Latest Bollywood Movie
India Today writes that Tanhaji is a weak attempt to glorify the Maratha warrior. They go on to say that the movie director has taken the help of a lot of CGIs which has made the movie a grand affair, but the poor writing along with its slow pace has made it unbearable to watch at some parts.
India Today also says that the action sequences has been shot with zero consideration for Physics. Like the part where men are seen walking parallel to the ground on the wall. Furthermore, adding that there was no logic how the ropes were able to pull the men by just being hung on the sidewalls of the fort.
Wion on the other hand says that Tanhaji is a visual spectacle with its great camera work, grand sets, supert stunts and the CGI. The state of the art CGI is able to make the battle scene come alive and takes you back in time. All the stunts were performed well and the film has been shot with 3D aspect in mind.
