After PUBG ban in India two students commits suicide. 21 year old student upset due to PUBG ban in India commits suicide. The incident occurred in West Bengal’s Nadia district in Purba Lalpur and police have registered a case of unnatural death.

According to his mother, the boy was frustrated about not being able to play PUBG. On Friday morning after completing his breakfast, Pritam went to his room. “When I went to call him for lunch, his room was locked from inside. After repeated banging when he did not open the door, I called the neighbours. They broke into the room and found him hanging from the ceiling fan,” his mother Ratna said.

His mother said that because of the PUBG ban her son committed suicide as he used to play it at night.

On August, 16-year-old boy died as he was skipping his meals for days to play the game. Later it was found that he suffered from severe dehydration.

Earlier this year, another gamer died due to a fatal brain stroke while playing PUBG mobile as well.

Government of India had banned PUBG Mobile, PUBG Mobile Lite and 116 other games citing security concerns as all of them were linked to China.

There was some debate whether PUBG Mobile would be banned as there was some confusion over the origins of the game as the parent company of PUBG, Krafton Game Union, is South Korean and is responsible for the PC and console versions of the game. However, the mobile version of the game was developed and published by Tencent.
